WHY WE EXIST

Universal Kitchen was founded in 2014 to serve individuals experiencing homelessness, veterans, and underserved communities throughout the Washington, D.C. region.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

ALLAN D. MILLINGTON

United States Army veteran, technology executive, and community advocate Allan D. Millington founded Universal Kitchen in 2014 after recognizing the growing need for consistent support among veterans and individuals experiencing homelessness.
